Goblins and Dwarves are interesting choices for Builders in dual-faction games, because they allow you to send your units through the Tunnel system. Purchasing a second of your own faction's Builders will not unlock the rest of your Fortress's options. Until you purchase a second Builder (that is not your faction's normal builder), this is all that your Fortress will be able to do - no heroes or upgrades allowed! For this reason, you'll usually want to purchase an off-faction Builder right away. Good factions have the possibility of purchasing any of the three good faction Builders, and evil factions have the possibility of purchasing any of the four evil faction Builders. The Fortress has been edited so that at the beginning of the game the only thing that can be done is recruit Builders. Each player starts with 1500 resources instead of 1000, but with only one Builder.
